Family of Jesse Ross Establishes Official Missing Persons Day for the State of Illinois

Propelled by the horrific experience of a missing son of their own, Jesse 'Opie' Ross, the efforts from Don and Donna Ross have now transpired into an official Missing and Unidentified Persons Awareness Day for the State of Illinois.

Thanks to the recent signing of from Illinois Governor, Pat Quinn, June 18th will now be recognized as a day dedicated towards spreading awareness of all those from the State of Illinois who are missing.

"We are excited about this opportunity for the missing and unidentified of IL. We realize that we are not alone as a family of a missing, so we take great pleasure in being part of this event. But it belongs to all families of IL missing so we hope to see in the weeks ahead, a broad network of support, hopefully to insure all those families are involved and get a chance at the exposure this type of event can bring."
